In-Class Training vs. Distance Learning
In-class training always provides the best learning style however if distance learning is your only option then it's far better to do distance learning than it is to not take the courses at all.
Unfortunately our distance learning courses alone do not to qualify you to be eligible for memberships nor certification. You must complete at least 100 hours of in-class training to be eligible to apply for professional memberships and certification.
As well, our distance learning courses do not count towards credits at Alpha University. You must complete the in-class training to receive credits.
Upgrading From Distance Learning to In-Class Training
If you choose to complete any of our courses via distance learning we welcome and encourage you to upgrade to in-class training at some point in the future when it is convenient for you. You simply will be required to pay the difference between the cost of the in-class training versus the distance learning course plus an additional upgrade fee. Upgrading to in-class training will make you eligible to apply for professional memberships and certifications as well as receive credits towards Alpha University.
